- Focus on your favorite food, leave the rest;
- Plan ahead;
- Join an indoor walking club;
- Savor every bite (put your fork down between bites and/or stop at three bites);
- Substitute ingredients when you’re cooking.

Five TOPS and one KOPS were present at the December 4 meeting of Imperial TOPS NE0267. Lorna was the Best Loser.Lorna, Cheryl, and Donna won cash prizes for losing weight over Thanksgiving.
- Drink 6-8 glasses of water every day;
- Walk/exercise for at least 20 minutes 3 times a week;
- Eat only fruit or vegetable snacks after supper;
- Try a new (or neglected) fruit or vegetable;
- Use small plate/bowl power every day;
- Eat all meals at a table.
The Christmas party will be on Thursday, December 18, followed by a meal together at the Community Center. There will be no meeting the week of Christmas.
TOPS Club meets from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursdays at the Imperial Community Center, with weigh-ins beginning at 8:30. The first meeting is free.
