How to Walk Inside

TOPS NEWS 4/3/2014

The April 3 meeting of Imperial TOPS NE0267 began with a couple of tidbits from members:
The first was a news item about sisters in Columbus, Nebraska, who together lost 270 pounds.
The next was a list of ways to get your walking exercise inside the house: Walk in place, in a circle, reverse directions, in a figure 8, backwards! Eight TOPS and one KOPS were present at the meeting. Cheryl won some cash in the Ha-Ha drawing.

Best Loser

Diann was the best loser for the week and also received the Kept-It-Off award.

Make It Up As You Go Contest

walkerBarb added the next challenge for the “Make It Up As You Go” team contest: Keep a food journal, added to the other daily challenges: Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water, walk at least 10 minutes, and eat at two servings of fruits and vegetables. Score Totals: Team 1 (AKA the Tulips): 142 points; Team 2 (the Dandelions): 124 points.

 

 

2014 Open House FlyerOpen House

Cheryl distributed flyers and postcards for members to distribute for their upcoming Open House on April 24, with the theme, “Friends thru Thick and Thin.”
