At the October 2 meeting of Imperial TOPS NE0267, Barb was the Best Loser for the week.The two challenges for the week are to use the USDA’s MyPlate guidelines at every meal and to exercise at least 10 minutes 3 times this week. 5 TOPS and 1 KOPS were present.
New Contest
Karen distributed the October club calendar, which emphasizes exercise. She also handed out the plastic “turkey” bags, which each member is to stuff with cotton balls as she meets various challenges. The one whose turkey is fullest will receive a frozen turkey breast.Donna and Barb reported they thought Saturday’s Fall Rally in Sidney was the best one yet. Area Captain Mary Lou Beisner has challenged all members in her area to show a weight loss for the year.

Cheryl presented a TOPS program titled “Accepting Compliments Gracefully,” a group exercise in knowing your worth and seeing worth in others as a means to boost confidence, which helps achieve your weight goals.Come Join Us!
TOPS Club meets from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursdays at the Imperial Community Center, with weigh-ins beginning at 8:30. The first meeting is free.See tops.org for more information.
