Six TOPS and two KOPS were present at the May 16 meeting of
TOPS NE0267. Peg was the best loser for the week.
The Yes-Yes for the coming
week is to eat five or six small meals per day, with no skipping meals. The
No-No is tasting while cooking.
Each member who maintained or lost weight got to remove one
layer from the “pass-around” gift. The one who removes the last layer will
receive the gift.
The TOPS blog is now active. Karen will begin posting the
Yes-Yes and No-No each week. The blog address is imperialnetops.blogspot.com.
Cheryl led a discussion of the international TOPS rules, updated
at the first of the year. The chapter also went through the Chapter By-laws,
revising the rules about fines for weight gain and awards for TOPS who lose
weight and KOPS who maintain their weight. Diann is scheduled to give next week’s
program.
TOPS Club meets every Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the
Imperial Community Center, with weigh-ins beginning at 8:30. For more
information about TOPS, phone Cheryl at 883-0265 or go to www.tops.org. The
first meeting is always free!
