At the February 19 meeting of Imperial TOPS NE0267, Barb won a little cash in the Ha-Ha drawing. Four members of the club are planning to attend State Recognition Days in Grand Island the last weekend of March.Program
Cheryl gave a program based on the book Mini Habits: Smaller Habits, Bigger Results by Stephen Guise. Main points were How Mini-Habits Work, Why Motivation Doesn’t Work, Forming Many Mini-Habits, Guidelines for Forming Mini-Habits, Why They Work, and Signs That’s It’s a Habit.Shirley will present next week’s program.
Challenges and Contests
Challenges for February are: 1) Eat a red fruit or vegetable every day; and 2) Do an exercise that increases your heart rate once each day.Three contests are ongoing: A Heart contest, measuring weight loss for the month; a Zipper contest, with a goal of 10 pounds lost; and the Move, Lose, and Win contest, which includes an exercise challenge.
