The Yes-Yes for the week is to eat at least 20 grams of fiber each day; the No-No is snacking while watching TV or reading.
Cheryl reminded members of their May weight goals. She also read the chapter’s by-laws, which were reviewed and revised on May 16. With just a couple of minor changes, they were unanimously approved. Shirley shared a tidbit entitled “What to Count,” which is posted below.

What to Count
by Pauline Thomason, Flora, Illinois
Don’t count how many years you've spent,
Just count the good you've done.
The times you've lent a helping hand,
The friends that you have won.
Just count the good you've done.
The times you've lent a helping hand,
The friends that you have won.
Count all your deeds of kindness,
The smiles, not the tears.
Count all the pleasures that you've had,
But never count the years.
The smiles, not the tears.
Count all the pleasures that you've had,
But never count the years.
